Registration for the 2025 Tenino Earth Day Celebration
Pre-registration/online registration is now Closed
Pre-registration ended at 5:00pm on 4/18, but don't worry, you can still show up tomorrow and register in person!
School District Participants: The Tenino Earth Day celebration with be held on April 19, 2025 in the Tenino City Park. During the event participants will be asked to aid volunteers from the Friends of Tenino Parks in various "park cleanup" activities to be determined prior to the event. We are trying for minimal to zero waste, so bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated and get a free sticker.
Thanks to the Lion's Club and local event sponsors a total of $1,500 is available in the prize pool and every participating school in the Tenino School District will receive a percentage of the prize money based on attendance. Yes, everyone wins! The event can also be used to complete Community Service Hours.
*A parent or guardian must be present on the day of the event to sign in and sign the event participation waiver. Parental participation is strongly encouraged and children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Event staff will not be available to wait for child pickup after the end of the event.
Informational Booth Participants: The Tenino Park Earth Day Student Challenge clean-up event benefits from contributions of ecology-minded organizations who bring their programs to the activity’s participants.
We invite your organization to provide an information booth at our Earth Day Challenge event. Bring your education content and activities to share with students and community member participants. Register your organization below. Lunch will be provided by the Lions Club.
Schedule of Events
9:30 am --- Sign in at the Quarry House in the Tenino City Park to receive your t-shirt and work
assignments
10:00 am --- Work party begins. The work party will end at 12:00 pm
11:00 am --- Community resource informational booths will be active in the park until 1:00 pm
Participating organizations will offer some great activities and information to enrich
the Earth Day experience.
12:00 pm --- Group picture at the Quarry House
12:15 pm --- Free lunch provided to participants by the Tenino Lion's Club
1:00 pm --- End of Earth Day event
